Meet Ty (she/her)
My name is Ty, and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor working under the supervision of Cassidi Beckstein, LPC. My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, authenticity, and respect for each individual’s unique journey. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space through the use of a multicultural lens, where clients can process their emotions and thoughts. I am a firm believer that no one should have to struggle alone. I am here to walk alongside you, offering support, empathy, and a safe space for you to explore, heal, and grow.
I strive to empower clients to develop skills to help them forge the path that feels right to them. You are the expert in your life and together we can collaborate to build a comprehensive plan to address the goals you want to work on. I have a background in trauma, neurodiversity, and LGBTQIA+. I utilize a set of approaches including CBT, DBT, and IFS to explore, identify, and challenge areas of growth. Active listening is a big part of my style, meaning I am here for all those who need a space to be heard.
Tyller Gryp LAC, MA, NCC
I received my Bachelor’s and Master's degrees from Northern Arizona University, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and emotions. During my undergrad, I worked to provide suicide education and prevention (a deep passion of mine) through co-presenting at the Southwestern School for Behavioral Health Studies conference.
I am an Arizona native and love all creative pursuits including piano, drawing, and singing. I can often be found watching anime, playing soccer, reading, tending my plants or exploring a new restaurant with my husband. I have a strong sense of humor and love a good existential conversation.
